The New York Times has a great story today (Sept. 20) about me and Alvin Parker, descendant of Ely Parker ("Grant's Indian"). Al and I spoke to the Civil War Forum of Metropolitan New York (www.cwfmny.org) last week about the Iroquois League, the Seneca heritage and my novel "Grant's Indian." In the photo, that's Al (R) as a Seneca, me (L) as a white guy. Please forward to all!
