I'm a California journalist with a ridiculous and economically irresponsible obsession to write fiction. I've got a box full of awards in my garage, which is also where I write against the soothing thump of clothes in the dryer. My first book, SAFE LANDINGS, was published on Kindle through Curtis Brown Digital.

Interests & Hobbies
Besides being addicted to reading and writing, I'm also a jock-aholic. I love to run with my friends, ski, ride mountain bikes, hike, work out, and play golf. In fact, I spent almost all of the last three months outside -- first camping, fishing and hiking in Alaska and then remodeling our tiny cabin in Lake Tahoe with my husband. I have now added roofer and carpenter to lumberjack on the list of jobs I don't want to have.
