On Saturday, May 23, 2009, I participated in The Awakened Mind Project Seminar in Winchester, Virginia. This was an important seminar for all participants, and the people whose lives will be (indirectly) touched by it.
The purpose of this movement is to awaken us from the slumber of unconscious or subconscious living. A reactionary, routine, sleep-walking existence increases stress, hides our potential, and keeps us from living life to the fullest.
Awakening involves recognizing our limiting beliefs, and overcoming them. This process opens the door to conscious living, and awakens the creative individual to participate in the world in new ways.
Empowering ourselves through positive thinking leads us to living with intention, and creates new opportunities. It prevents us from reacting to life and helps us to create our own destiny.
We, alone, are responsible for reaching our true potential and living our dreams.
Let go of the demon we call fear and go for it!
