Anthropomorphize Away!

Fear not Anthropomorphism!

To anthropomorphize is to relate, albeit narcissistically.

But to relate is better than not to relate.

Anthropomorphize away!

And then, having related, away with anthropomorphism!

A pattern interruption caveat: there is a bit of narcissism to any form of compassion.

- How come?

Simple: compassion is identification, identification is ego.

How can one understand,

How can one understand, relate to or otherwise "know" anything except in terms of one's own "being"?  This truth explains why the world/experience of a robin, for example, is very different, whatever it is, from that of a human being and why, except to the extent the essence of the cosmos exists within us, we are limited in our conceptions of it.   Still, imagination might be our only escape from this bondage and the key to transcendence.

yes

"to relate" is not "to know" but think that one knows (by virtue of projected similarities)... which is the inevitable seed of narcissism of compassion (not that I am opposed to compassion)(better to pseudo-relate than not to relate at all).
