Translation rights have been sold to China for two crime novels by British author, Pauline Rowson. Tide of Death, the first in the Inspector Andy Horton marine mystery police procedural crime series and In Cold Daylight, a crime thriller novel about the cover up over the mysterious deaths of fire fighters,are to be published in China later this year by Guizhou People’s Publishing House of Guizhou in the People’s Republic of China.

The deal was done through Chengdu Rightol Media & Advertisement Co Ltd. of Chengdu, China.

Pauline Rowson is the author of the popular marine mystery series of crime novels set in the Solent area of the UK featuring Inspector Andy Horton. The fifth in the series, Blood on the Sand, was published by Severn House in February 2010 in the UK and in May 2010 in the USA. Booklist said, 'Like Ed Mc Bain Rowson works many subtle variations on the procedural formula... This is another solid entry in a well written series. A definite winner in the crowded field of British procedurals.'
