Hailed in the USA as the new Ed McBain and with her writing compared to Joseph Wambaugh, Pauline Rowson is a British crime author with International sales and a growing following of fans of her fictional flawed and rugged detective,  DI Andy Horton. Set on the South Coast of England these novels have been dubbed Marine Mysteries and have been hailed as the 'Best of British Crime Fiction' by Amazon and The Book Depository and as 'Exemplary procedurals,' by Kirkus (USA) and 'Oustanding' Booklist (USA). Rowson's thrillers include In For The Kill and the award winning In Cold Daylight, shortlisted for the World Book Day Prize 2008. 

Pauline Rowson is also a professional conference and event speaker and gives many entertaining and inspirational talks about her writing, and her crime novels, to groups, associations and libraries.

Undercurrent,the ninth DI Andy Horton marine mystery crime novel is being published in the UK and Commonwealth on 31 January 2913 and in the USA on 1 May 2013. I am now writing the tenth in the series.
