where the writers are
The Mighty Cat Eyes

in the stark still of the dark bowl

I have detected the spinning disks of gold

carelessly tossed by the ticklish tide

admired by the coffin crowd

their indifference replaces the loss

giving my heart the playful bite

of painful remorse that haunts me in the park

unexpectedly in due course

so trembles the hectic phantom of yours

when the delicate twitter of meadow-larks

is neither voiced nor blessed

the peregrination of my world

has come unstuck but not the Cat's

unmoved posture how I envy it

these seventh compact eyes

where comparative wisdom lies

how dreadfully I lack

your seductive lover's sight

imprinted in my ferocious heart

unfed and yearning for the supreme of you

as it brings on mute peace

to the tussling plucked crow of night

with the Cat's might

let the puzzled soul resurrect aside

in one piece

A reply: certain things need correcting

To anyone interested – as somebody calls it, "this author has not published anything yet", it is true, I confirm it in person, let me clear it up, in English.
But I managed to publish one tiny book of teen poetry during my studies in Poland. Unluckily, all in Polish /well, by the way, I don't think writing in one's native language is something unlucky or a fault at all/ What must be important, under my maiden's name, Lubińska. The book was published in 1994 by Arkona Publishing Co. and it has got the following ISBN 83-902266-6-9. As far as I remember the distribution failed - didn't know what to do with all those volumes, find an agent? distribute them myself? burn them? this technical sort of things doesn't preoccupy me too much...
Perhaps not so worth reading at all, yet it is not for me to make a decision... I gave up the writing for a long time.. but have just come back to it, you know, it is a kind of must one shan't struggle with...
