Enable People to Stay
Blog Post by Noah Blumenthal - Jul.08.2010 - 11:28 am
If I ran a brick and mortar store I would have 2 concerns.
- Get people to the store.
- Get people to stay and keep buying.
In women’s clothing stores I think there should be a room off to the side that has a pinball machine and a Wii. Dads and kids can go in there while Moms shop. More time to shop, more purchases.
Restaurants in airports should have departure monitors in the restaurant so diners don’t have to rush away to make their flight only to discover it was delayed. More time at the table, more drinks and desserts purchased.
Enable people to stay. Make more sales. Simple.
