I am a graduate student in the MIT Portugal Program. I am specialising in Transport Systems Engineering, which basically deals with Urban Transit on a large basis. I completed my bachelors in Civil Engineering from NIT Calicut and have been the only Indian in 2011 to be admitted into the MIT Portugal Program.
Writing was a one-time hobby which transitioned itself into one of my primary passions apart from transport studies. I am an active blogger since '07 and my blog serves as the breeding ground for this ever-growing passion of mine. I might not boast of honours in journalism or literature, but deeply cherish my aspirations of turning full time one day.
Being a resident of Lisbon, Portugal, I have managed to connect all the dots of passion in my life with my present city of residence - the mark that Lisbon has left on the cultural and historical front on a global basis and my passion for the same, the impact that it has had on global transportation systems research, the country of Portugal being the aforementioned dots.
My aspirations as a writer for the future will possibly be nurtured by my experience at the Red Room, which has among its ranks stalwarts in the literary world. I hope to convert this opportunity to gain valuable life experience and strive for betterment.
