Nescher Pyscher--his real name. Honest!--is a happily married, thirty-five year old author and poet living, writing and staying at home with his son in the Cambridge, Ohio area. His writing can be found at Weebly.com, Helium.com, Pablo Lennis, and his book of short stories, Itchy Whispers, is now available from Trafford or Amazon.com. His adventures in ineptitude with his son, The Pants, can be read twice weekly at The Daily Jeffersonian.
I am enormously influenced by folklore, mythology and urban myth. As to specific cases, Neil Gaiman's American Gods was a paradgim shifter for me, as are Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. It's nice to see that fantasy can be gritty, urban and funny.
I've just finished the re-write of my novel, Tales of the Fallen. It's about Solly Mont's long struggle to re-learn his humanity, and in the process, save the entire universe.
I'm still looking for one. I haven't nailed down that finely tuned query letter yet, I guess. Or maybe I'm not appealing for whatever reason. Still collecting rejection letters by the bushel.
Trafford published my collection of short stories, Itchy Whispers, and it's available from Amazon and Trafford.
