I have tried on a number of professional suits during my working career. Some of these have been fine suits, some suits felt a little tight and restrictive, some were sexy and exciting, others felt large when I put them on but I quickly grew into them only to wonder if the cut really suited me. So I would ask friends and family if this was the right suit for me.
The trades for these many cloths I have worn include a word processing operator, journalist, radio announcer/producer, industrial cleaner, and environmental advisor.
A few years ago I sold my house to fulfill a strong urge to volunteer overseas. I ended up in Fiji for a year volunteering for an international environmental organisation. This inspired me to complete a Masters degree in Applied Anthropology after which I found myself in Canberra.
I am now back where I began (well almost) in Adelaide where I am 'putting down roots'. This has inspired me to share my adventures as a novice but keen gardener, and my challenges in renovating a 1960s beach cottage. Occassionally I may throw in some homegrown philosophy!
