Here is some video footage of Sean Starr's live painting event in San Francisco titled "Morrissey Ruined My Life" as well as interviews with Nasseri & Starr at their book signing for "You, Me and Morrissey" with Vanessa Finney.
On February 3, 2007 abstract painter and author Sean Starr invited nearly 1,000 art enthusiasts in San Francisco into the private intimate atmosphere of his studio, with the show titled "Morrissey Ruined My Life- A Tribute to the World's Greatest Living Poet." An homage to British singer Morrissey, Starr's greatest artistic influence.
The show received international press coverage, in addition to well wishes from thousands around the world who couldn't make it to San Francisco for the event.
As the crowd watched on, Starr created a massive abstract piece (8 feet by 12 feet) in a matter of 5 hours, while the music of Morrissey thundered throughout the gallery. The event was documented on video, and is currently undergoing editing, and is scheduled to be released in 2008 with a book detailing the event, as well as the experiences Starr encountered while working with legendary Punk producer David Ferguson, founder of San Francisco's Institute for Unpopular Culture.
