On the other hand, this small stone reminds me that I have work to do. I have to shovel the driveway (ah, one of the many tasks of home ownership), but unlike the mowing of grass, I truly enjoy shoveling snow. Of course, I could wait. Eventually, it will melt away, but then I wouldn't get to enjoy the snow. For me, it is a simple pleasure. Shoveling snow allows me to be a child again, to be able to play in the snow, especially if the snow continues throughout the shoveling.
