Okay, I didn't realize that C.S. Lewis had first names for Mr. and Mrs. Beaver in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I just thought they were known as Mr. Beaver and Mrs. Beaver even when they were talking to each other. I guess I was wrong. Someone obviously researched it and found that Mr. Beaver's first name was Justin.
Fame is fickle, or must be so, because suddenly I am hearing about Justin Beaver all the time now. After being in print for many years, his first name has been revealed and he is trending everywhere (Yahoo, Google, you-name-it). I can't say I understand it although you have to like the character. He is one of Aslan's talking animals and like all the talking animals of Narnia, he is loyal and steadfast and true to Aslan, the lion.
I am sure Mr. Beaver, aka Justin Beaver, will fall out of the limelight soon enough. It seems that way about most "created celebrities" these days. Andy Warhol was right...everyone gets their fifteen minutes of fame and Justin Beaver is getting his right now. Give it a few months and he'll go the way of all the others like the Jonas Brothers or Lindsey Lohan.
Oh, I was just told that this was supposed to be about Justin Bieber, not Mr. (Justin) Beaver....Nevermind!
