Tomorrow night, I'm going to see The Pointer Sisters in concert.  I'm not a big concert person, at least not like my friend Suzanne who porbably goes to twenty or thirty Bruce Springsteen concerts every year.  Okay, maybe not quite that many, but a lot.  Suffice it to say, she's always been into the "Boss" as long as I've known her (nearly thirty years), but I digress.

However, I have attended a few concerts in my day.  Yanni, the B52s, Seals and Crofts, Jimmy Buffett,and the Dayton Symphony Orchestra, just to name a few.  And these concerts were at my choice, for the most part. Okay, I know I have eclectic musical tastes.  I like Chopin and Mahler, Dvorak and They Might Be Giants, Carly Simon and Enya, Clannad and Chick Corea, among others, and of course, The Pointer Sisters.

And tomorrow night, my husband and I will be seeing The Pointer Sisters.  If I'm really lucky, they will sing the Duke Ellington medley from Steppin'.
