I am resurrecting my photography hobby. I've been exploring my creative self and have come to realize how my fledgling artist had her wings clipped by different people. I've come to the conclusion that where art is concerned, if you aren't a prodigy then most people think it's not pursuing. If you can't make a living out of it, it isn't worth learning to draw or paint or dance or sing or write. I was told that it's a waste of money and time to take lessons. You know what? They are all wrong. It's worth it just for yourself and the satisfaction you get from expressing yourself in ways that make your spirit grow. You don't have to be Ginger Rogers or Van Gogh or Hemingway; you can just be you.
P.S. Adding the images is not working as well as I hoped. Redroom only allows a 2.7 mb file, which is very low quality. Be warned, the pictures look better than can be seen here. It's a pain to have to resave everything and a lot of the best shots can't be compressed enough. The life of an artist :)
