What can you say about Luck?
Find this to be an interesting topic, as I had always thought myself to be an unlucky person.
And you know what? As long as I continued to think that way, I was an unlucky person. One crisis after another to handle and then I could start in on my ‘soap opera’ woos of ‘poor me’. When I turned 27, I decided to try something new. Something so very simple and easy to do....get up each morning and say ‘Thank you world for what you have given me today’ and then start naming off exactly what you have to be grateful for. You will be amazed at how much you truly do have that is fantastic, beautiful and wondrous.
So, there I was, each day saying ‘Thank You’ and listing off what was great or good or even nice about my life. Soon I found that my luck had changed. I was presenting this happy, cheerful, fulfilled person to the world and soon was finding friendships that would last a lifetime.
To some, luck may be in monetary form only, but to me, luck is living a long, satisfying life, being able to go after your dreams and passions and to accomplish them. So, here I sit, at the ripe old age of 57, having performed in theatre, painted in oil and acrylic, did radio commercials, sang in bands and choirs and the last passion of writing which I have been following for the last few years.
Luck is a word meaning
LivingUltimatelyCreatingKindness
Once you find the caring, love and kindness within yourself and show it to the world, you will find nothing but the best of luck.
