My love for writing has found a new outlet. For years now, I've been making unique birthday cards to give to my friends and family. It's something I love to do, and I can easily spend hours and hours (even when I shouldn't) at the computer coming up with just the right funny comments, poetry, sentiments or jokes to go with old pictures. With much encouragement from the recipients of these cards, I have finally launched my own business. Gaining a foothold in the greeting card business is a steep, uphill battle, but I do have a plan. And I've started working ... which I find is often the biggest hurdle.
