Michele Harvey's Biography

I am a freelance writer, journalist and published poet. As  a registered dietitian, I write nutrition articles for Livestrong.com  As a poet who grew up in New York City, with wide exposure to the arts and culture, as well as a plethora of contacts in the music business, I wrtie newspaper articles covering music and culture for "I Love Chile News," a print and online newspaper based in Santiago, Chile. The newspaper's mission is to promote English in Chile and Chile in English. In 2006, I self-published a poetry chapbook called Ripped Railway Tickets.  Most of the poems in my book were first accepted for publication and placed in fine literary journals. I am currently working on a collection of short, spiritually inspired, self-help poems, as well as a full length collection of poems, based on my experiences living as an expat in Chile.
