I am the author of the novel, THE ESTRANGEMENT OF THE RAIN GOD.

I survived my service in the Vietnam War as a Naval Intelligence counterintelligence operative. I didn't get killed until I came back home. The day I died was a lovely spring day. I expired under cerulean skies.
Being dead is not all that it is cracked up to be. Neither is resurrection.
I am a former high-tech executive who has traveled the world, embraced its cultures, and loved its women. Now I am retired and my days are spent as a full-time novelist, essayist and poet--when I don't have a fishing rod, hunting rifle, great book, champagne flute or a naked, breathless woman in my hands.
We can discuss pre-Socratic philosophy (when philosophy was still philosophy and not academic semantics), plasma cosmology, the extraordinary 1982 vintages in Bordeaux, what you have learned during your life, or what I learned while I was dead. Or we can go fishing in the wilderness, play tennis, watch football, browse for antiques, rake leaves, or make pies (I make my pie crust with lard because you can't make a great, flaky crust otherwise).
I embrace life with an intelligent, thoughtful, interesting, passionate spirit. Central to that vital engagement is thunderous lust, titanic pleasuring, and deep, contented, solemn embrace.
My writing is my life. I keep that life rich in emotion, thought and experience.
