While enduring shopping minutes at a mall today, I realized some words/concepts.
Blahsic. Songs from a genre or era that sounds repetitious to the unschooled ear (which means people that didn't grow up listening to it). Many experience it with rap, blues, 'old country' and the 80s techno sound but older people generally experience it after aging. That's how I discovered it.
Mindgap. This is derived from a culture gap when the moment comes that you don't recognized any names of the people singing a song, starring in a television or featured in a movie, and you don't mind. This can be applied to a number of disciplines and interests, especially in popular culture. The key to knowing mindgap has arrived is that you recognize the gap exists, and you don't care.
Movesia. 1. An affliction caused by the inability to remember whether a televison or movie star is alive or dead because you just saw them in a movie or show; 2. The shock of seeing a television or movie star and realizing how old they are because you just saw them in a movie or show.
