How many days in a row is this that I'm having a great writing day? Should I count the days?
No; I'll just let them flow.
So the work day yesterday was not fun but the writing day was. Worked late on "Peerless," addressing a gap. Once I wrote that scene, though, I need to read through the rest for collateral impact. I know there is at least one place where this change affects that scene.
After wrapping up writing last night, meditated on my health a bit and pondered, why don't I meditate on my health more often? I realized it's because it's lower on my list of priorities. Perhaps these are misplaced but I don't notice that I'm not feeling well until my symptoms rise up and affect the others. Just need to increase my cognizance of that and took more proactive action about it.
The meditation worked well though. Feel great today. No sore throat or headache. Could have just been time, though, letting the illness run its course. No matter, it's gone.
Worked today on "Sister, Sister," and "Ghosts of Ashland." Have three stories submitted: "Sometimes," "Many and Varied Potato Recipes", and "Blue and Red". Realized I want to reprise and revise "Next Gen" and "Humping the Bones," both rejected last year. Yes, that's how good I feel.
It's a fabulous day. There are many, many, many more to come.
