So...let me get this straight....
Israeli soccer team fans were upset. One of their team members had scored a goal.
So they walked out.
But isn't scoring a goal good?
No. Turns out the member of the Israeli team who scored the goal was a Muslim.
The walk out was led by "La Familia." Their problem wasn't that he was a Muslim.
The problem was that he was an Arab.
La Familiar rejected his presence on the team because the Israeli team - the Jewish team, if you will - one of two Israeli teams - wanted to keep their teams pure.
Where have I heard those words before...? Something about cleansing others out of their midst to keep their race pure? Where was that? When was that?
Sorry, just can't recall. I know, memories can be so elusive, especially when you're trying to rationalize that this isn't the same at all. Others were talking about being pure genetically, scouring the nation of others' genes. I mean, come on.
You have to draw the line somewhere.
