Think half a million for a Ferrari is a lot of money? How about that $100,000 BMW?
Read an article today about the world's nine most expensive cars. This list does not include these makes:
Mercedes (it does include a Maybach, which is sort of a Mercedes for the wealthy, as Maybach is owned by Daimler, which also owns Mercedes)
There are no Japanese, Korean, American, Austrailan, Chinese, Mexican, Indian or Canadian cars on the list. Nothing from GM, Ford, Chrysler.
Several, including the most expensive car (over $2,000,000), are from Sweden while the rest are from France, Germany, Italy, and England. The 'best known' brand would be Lamborghini, providing a 1.4 million dollar offering. The least expensive car on the list checks in at $755,000.
Just goes to show you that the super-rich are different from you and I. They even drive different cars.
