Exciting times in science. A planet was found orbiting two suns. A water giant was discovered. 600 plus other planets have been discovered. Now someone thinks they found particle that travels faster than light, subject to verification.
Maybe an FTL particle will be a cold fusion bust but these ideas play in my pond. Ripples of uncertainty about what we know crowd and splash. I love tinkering with concepts of time and reality. I like thinking and saying, your reality might not be the same as mind. I like telling people (and hearing them answer, you're crazy) that maybe there's more than one kind of time. Maybe time is like heat, with different sources. Maybe everything generates a time particle and these clashing time particles create the intersections of moments we label, 'reality'.
Perhaps we live in an ocean in time or an ocean of reality. Down here in the depths, all is cold, slow and stable. Uptop, storms rage. We live happy lives on the bottom but sometimes one or two of us move out into a different current and discover something else, experience something else, somewhere else, and maybe become someone else.
There's slow time, fast time, reactive time, radioactive time (a time isotope that affects how the rest behave, dig?), animal time, human time, sun time, plant time, rock time, star time, parallel time, rogue time. Maybe time degrades. Maybe it evolves. Maybe we think of time as a particle when it's an element, a race, a creature, a state.
Time and reality are great playgrounds for my mind.
