Michelle Bachmann suspended her run to be the Republican nominee for POTUS after winning 5% of the Iowa caucus vote and ending as the night as a backmarker. It's an impressive drop from when she won the Iowa August straw vote with over 28% of the vote.
When she announced she was running for the nomination in June, Mrs Bachmann said that God told her to run. Apparently God didn't tell many people to vote for her. Makes you wonder about the divine plan. Maybe she and God miscommunicated. Perhaps he said, "I don't want you to run," but the signal was dropped, or God said, "I want you to run," and Michelle said, "Okay," as God finished, "when Hell freezes over," or, "in 2016." Who knows?
I've heard God works in mysterious ways. It might take a while to untangle this one.
