So, it's Day 4 of my juicing fast. Yes, I was to be doing it for three days. After rising and weighing myself and seeing myself in the mirror, I decided to press on for today as well. I'm experiencing a stress free life and I like how well I'm sleeping and how relaxed and refreshed I feel.
My wife did not continue today. She decided she needed fiber, calories and fat. Of course, she carries less fat than I do, as she's been diet conscious for years due to her illness and symptoms. She loves exercising and participates in low impact aerobics three mornings a week, along with Zumba twice a week, and she doesn't drink beer.
Back at work, it remains quiet, as expected. Don't know if heads are rolling anywhere but not much can be done about it from my office. People are still out on vacation, too, and meanings have been canceled, as it's a short work week here in America. It's the end of the month so closing deals and filling orders has everyone's attention. Fires still smolder and burn but I've been taken off the lines fighting them and now await new directions. C'est la vie.
