I was on a call this morning, listening to the engineeers discussing the quality sprints and reading a Seattle newspaper online when a banner ad sucked me in: "Chocolae on the Beach."
Chocolate on the beach. Chocolate and I have a very good relationship. I should probably go to this festival and support chocolate. I like the beach, too.
But...chocolate on the beach? My relationship with that is a little grittier. Won't it melt?
What about the sand?
Still the ad's bait hooked me enough to click to learn more. The beach is in Washington, in February, like, later this month.
That input dissolved the images of a warm day seaside strolling among chocolate vendors. It's the sixth annual chocolate on the beach festival so it must have worked before. Either that or we're dealing with diehards who really like their chocolate and the beach.
"DIE HARD 6: Chocolate on the beach!" "Things might get sticky," McLain whispers. "Yippee ki yah."
