Mian gives an overview of the book:

From the Author: The ocean was calm and serene. As I stood there by the shore, the blue, cold, and loving arms of the ocean spread and seemed to beckon me within their fold. My body and soul surged forward, and the cool and calm waves closed over my head. Far ahead, there was a glistening, a luminance guided me and, traveling on a glistening path, it took me deep into the folds of the ocean. Reflecting, I saw my past illuminated with the pearls that I had collected, as the moments when my individual soul was one with the universal. A faint memory remains of those moments and some words as comments on them. Each of these comments, quotations to define, is a gist of a certain experience. Some of these quotations formed the basis of my previous two books. In the present volume I have collected all my quotations.
