Non fiction seems to be my more profitable direction. New book: With the Sea Beside Me: An intimate guide to California's central and north coast is selling pretty well. I guess everyone loves our coast, and most people want some inside knowledge before hitting the road.
However, Messiah Chronicles isn't moving at all. I figured the non religious would enjoy it, and the religious would read it so they could send me some hate mail. Didn't happen. Too bad, as it's a pretty fair fictional account of the lives of people that went under the radar of the first century historians.
My other books sell now and then, but it costs as much to ship them as I get in profit. Short version, I'm not making a living at this. Luckily I sell a few mag articles.
