After a successful run as a journalist and freelance writer, I switched gears and went to law school following a riding accident that put me in a body cast for several months. Well who knew the keyboard eventually would draw me back? Seems that while law is "what I do," being a writer is "who I am." Two essay collections under my belt--"Running with Stilettos" and "Heck on Heels"--while a third works its way through production.
My world divided into "before and after" when my children were born, and I would not be the person I am without them. I had no idea until then the depth of love a human heart could hold. I owe much to their love and fearless example.
And I owe a "forever" debt to the man now in my life, who opened my soul to the joys of music, and gardening, and power tools, and the view from the back of a Harley. There's no going back from those joys!
My third essay collection, whose name will be revealed a little closer to publication in spring, 2011--I don't want to jinx a good title!
