If you're like most folks I know, especially writers, you may have difficulty at this time of year (fluffy clouds, green shoots) actually sitting down and writing.
Why? Well if your writing desk faces a window on the garden, as they say in the east, "Fageddaboudit." Of course, if you're in the east you're no doubt digging out of that big snowstorm (or storms—whatever happened to global warming?) Here in California, of course, the snap peas are sprouting and the snails are multiplying. Lettuce is coming up too, so I have to be vigilant.
I'm a green gardener. I wear green gloves in the garden and I don't use pesticides. That's as far as I go.
And I am writing. Working on my book. Taking breaks from which it is hard to return, and pulling a few weeds. But I'm lucky...my desk doesn't face the window.
