Mark Gillispie's Biography

I'm a 54-year-old newspaper reporter for The Plain Dealer in Cleveland who spent four months of early 2012 undergoing treatment for lung cancer. I'm chronicling that journey at http;//markscancerblog.blogspot.com.

I plan to embark soon on a new and far different writing career in the coming months. I'm not sure where it will take me, but I'm excited and eager to begin.
