Mario Reyes's Biography

Born and raised in Co-Op City in the Bronx, I was raised by both loving parents and an older sister. The community I lived in afforded me the luxury of enjoying my childhood and appreciating my rights of passage into manhood. By seventeen I graduated from Truman High School and enlisted into the USAF. After serving 6 years in the AF, I was honorably discharged and began working as a IT contractor for the Federal Govenment. As of recent I became married and had a son, Mario A. Reyes Jr. Throughout this entire timeline I have been active in some form of creative art. Whether drawing comic book characters as a child, to getting arrested for graffiti as a teen, to countless spoken word events performing. My pen has always been exercised and my mind has always been open.
