We've had a cancellation in the workshop, "O Taste and See: Writing the Senses in Deep France," May 17-24. This frees up a space for you, for for you and a partner. The village, Auvillar, is one of the "100 Most Beautiful Villages in France." You can't get a bad meal, the people are friendly, the roses are huge and beyond fragrant, and the Garonne changes its countenance every moment. There's nothing that's not poetry!
In the afternoon, free photography and French cooking demos by a chef who is also a portrait photographer.
The other writers are well-published for the most part, and include professors and editors of literary journals. The bar is high. (Did I mention that the local rose is better wine than any rose you'll find in a U.S. store?)
Interested? This is a good time to negotiate: http://www.vcca.com/kallet.html/
