Who has signed up so far for "Writing the Senses in Deep France," June 12-18th? I won't use names without permission, but I can tell you that there's one well-published fiction writer and professor of creative writing at a midwestern university, one prize-winning poet who works for a corporation in Oak Ridge, one Knoxville poet who teaches creative writing and women's literature, a poet and photographer from Carmel, California, who is about to retire, and a young, dynamic, experimental poet from Kentucky, with an M.F.A. from Emerson College.
All of these people are nice, funny, mature--and would make easy traveling companions. No whiners, no bastards, no creeps.
If you are a poet with flair but not much experience, this is a good chance to let yourself be mentored by more experienced writers. Don't be shy. The most beautiful village in France is a fabulous place to learn and expand your range.
So please do take your courage in hand and sign on! We have room for three or four more writers.
