Redefining Success as a Writer

This morning, a woman sculptor my age thanked me for my frankness and "lightness" of expression about being 60, embracing the body now without pretenses. She kept smiling at me and thanking me for the poetry reading. Eric Nichols was right---we can "redefine success" as writers. The reader or listener who feels enriched, and says so, that's success, no? mk
