I've just arrived at the Virginia Center, have not yet unpacked. My writing studio is a former corn crib. It's just not me. Will I have the courage to ask for a change? Like all good girls, I hate to inconvenience anyone--and yet, and yet, this is my writing life! And there's no view. It's a little like a prison with flowers. Give me nerve, O goddess of poetry, give me chutzpah! I need to see the mountains, or at least the fields. There's a beautiful roan mare in the field. On the positive side, I was greeted with a hug when I got here, and the sunny sky is full of puffy clouds--so, no unpacking in the rain. That's a very good thing. And the view of the mountains from my bedroom is breathtaking. So should I be greedy? Stay tuned--Marilyn
