The world continues to turn and even with its tribulations, life is still good, gang.
I am finally studying Theology. Meaning, I have had several "general education" courses in school since July, and now I am taking one of the courses related to my degree and I am just LOVING it!! Yay. I could study this stuff 24/7, gang. I don't know why it fascinates me, but it does.
And in between writing papers on the divinity of Christ, on the nature of salvation, and the problem of sin; in my spare time I am independently studying the writings of the Apostle Paul. Yes -- just for "fun".
Gives you an idea of where my brain is at these days, gang.
Also, just for "fun", I recently became the mentor of an underprivileged 10 year-old girl and that is also turning my life around. For instance, I finally got to see the Justin Bieber film, Never Say Never. (Watch out for that link, gang; when the page loads it instantaneously gets SUPER LOUD.) And just in time to see indescribably strange photos of Johnny Depp posing with One Direction, I actually know who 1D are -- isn't that kind of astounding, gang??? Trust me, if I weren't hanging out with a 10 year old, I would be clueless. I also know who PSY is and why that clip with Madonna at Madison Square Garden is so cool...
On the kitten front... Yes, indeed, as I have thought all along, my stray kittens are indeed abandoned kittens and not feral kittens that simply showed up in my yard a few months ago. They now come into my sun room when I am preparing their food, and one of them allows me to pet him, although he remains skittery. The female has learned her name (which is "Becky" -- I have named the kittens after Mark Twain characters: Tom, Huck, and Becky.). I haven't gotten them to the point where they are tame enough to come inside and stay inside (so that I can get them to the vet and get them fixed), so I've built two insulated cat houses for them and they took to them right away. Now I don't have to worry that they'll freeze to death. I'm always glad for one less thing to worry about.
All right, on that note, I leave you with something to be truly grateful for, and that is: THIS PHOTO!! (Just FYI, Johnny Depp is the one in the quite comely bonnet..) Okay, see ya, gang!! Thanks for visiting.
