they are paper airplanes
pink skin and pink dress
mother and daughter
winter river reflecting
mute moments of understanding
between blood that is not water
and outstretched arms skating
this sacred wind
 
outside the window there is life
is this not life as well
stuck to keys that tap into the song
spatial
the flakes fall
how much of it is snow
we don't know
 
fall to the floor
what is it for
unconscious
like a newborn
holding history
inside
outside
unknown
