I was reading the blogs chosen by the Red Room Editors on the topic of Civil Disobedience. I enjoyed all three for their unique depth and honesty. So, maybe instead of going on in this post, I'll refer you to them and suggest that you tweet to your friends and followers. One thing I've noticed is that the older people and the younger people seem to have more common ground than we see portrayed in the media. On and on I see this with my own eyes and hear it with my ears. One example of this is detailed in a recent blog post, where I learn from a couple visiting OWS New York, from Atlanta. While I work on my next and wonder if OWS isn't keeping me from finishing my next book or if I'm simply not stepping up the discipline and dedication needed to make this moment live up to its fullest potential, please read what's there, or enjoy this unedited video of bagpipes and feel the energy you're missing, if you're only sitting on the rhetorical sidelines, or maybe catching a breath in between the balancing act of activism and daily struggle.
