"Μάνος Κατράκης στη Ζωή, τη Σκηνή και την Οθόνη" (“Manos Katrakis in Life, on the Stage and the Screen”) Manos Katrakis (1928 -1984) was a Greek Theatrical actor.This shy lad with the manly bearing, tender soul and explosive temperament went on to a career adventure and misadventure, with 53 years in the theater, more than 100 films to his credit and a number of awards for his screen roles. The material in “Manos Katrakis in Life, on the Stage and the Screen” is drawn from the Katrakis archive held by the Piraeus Municipality. Personal items, photographs, film scripts, costumes and sets illustrate the life of the artist, who was also a left-wing militant who was persecuted for his beliefs. The book was written along with Vassilis Martsakis and Ekaterini Demesticha in Greek language.
