Married to Tom W. McKinnon since 2000 (married in Melrose, Scotland after meeting on a genealogy website - we were both McKinnons)Tom is the illustrator for the children's version of REPAIR For Kids and REPAIR For Toddlers.

I am the founder of The Lamplighter Movement, a rapidly growing international movement for recovery from incest and childhood sexual abuse. Our website is at www.thelamplighters.org. As of January, 2013 we have 92 chapters in thirteen countries. I am also the author of 15 books, 5 fiction, 5 self help and 5 volumes of poetry. Five of my books, REPAIR Your Life: A Program for Recovery from Incest and Child Sexual Abuse, REPAIR For Kids, REPAIR For Toddlers, The REPAIR Your Life Workbook and, REPAIR For Teens It's Your Choice! Decisions That Will Change Your Life have been published by Loving Healing Press.

Works in Progress include: After The Rain, a fiction story about a woman who learns the meaning of life from a man who's time on earth is limited, Hello My Name Is Marjorie, A Sprightly and often humorous email account of her courtship with Tom McKinnon, her Husband, and a non fiction work titled, Our Greatest Asset: The Elderly, First person accounts of several seniors in their eighties and older who share bits and pieces of their lives and the wisdom they've learned. Interwoven with the author's own experiences with the beloved elderly aunts and uncles from her childhood.
