FORGOTTEN HOLLYWOOD BLOG RECOGNIZED BY LOS ANGELES PRESS CLUB...

The FORGOTTEN HOLLYWOOD Blog has just been named a FINALIST at the upcoming Los Angeles Press Club 54th Annual Southern California Journalism Awards.  The 2012 award winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Biltmore Hotel on Sunday, June 24th.

I realize I’m up against extraordinary competition. How amazing to be named in the same company with top journalists in the #2 Market in the nation associated with television, radio, newspaper, magazines, print, and internet-related news journalism. This is my FIRST award nomination in my broadcasting career, spanning three decades. What a true honor for the short time the FORGOTTEN HOLLYWOOD Blog has existed. And, it’s a fabulous promotion for my Book Series.

According to their website, the Los Angeles Press Club is the largest and oldest journalistic fraternity in Southern California. According to Finalist press release:

The Daniel Pearl Foundation was created by his relations in his memory to further the ideals that inspired Daniel’s life and work.
