Here you find Shalila Mukhopadhyay when she was two years and three months old on the lap of her Mejodadu ( brother of her maternal grand father ) with the members of The Bhattacharjee family of Nagpur, India, on the occassion of her Baromama's ( elder maternal uncle ) marriage. Baromama is seated on extreme right. Shalila Mukhopadhyay's mother Amiya is seated next to Mejodadu. Shalila's elder sister is seated on the floor; her younger sister is not visible in this picture as she was in her mother's womb when this photograph was taken in July 1943 and the younger sister was born in the same year. Amiya died after the delivery of the child in the same year.
An earlier post about Shalila Mukhoadhyay was deleted for which my present Ph D researcher had complained that I did not inform her before erasing the same, as she could not take out a printout for using in her thesis. My first Ph D researcher Dr. B.C. Dey had visited us at our Kolkata house and had collected all information about me and my family. Dr Dey's thesis is scheduled to be published soon.
I regret that I could not keep my readers informed. Anyway, since Shalila Mukhopadhyay has embarked on her memoir writing, things are supposed to be included in the book in detail.
