Reviews from Book Journalers at Bookcrossing.com:

TEN STARS!!! "I loved this book. I thought it was brilliant. I loved the fact that the chapters were short, which I feel, keeps you reading. sometimes long chapters can tire you out! It made a great break from all the sci-fi I've been reading lately. I loved the drama and I loved the romance between Rebecca and Wesley. (was not expecting that little twist . . . at the end.) – Michelle Connell, Bookcrosser “gypsyrose02” (Seville Grove, Australia)

"I loved this book! This had it all, mystery, romance, and most important, a few unexpected twists. It describes places and people enough to let you feel like you know them without going overboard. The story flows along perfectly. It was a quick and easy read. I started it one night before going to sleep, intending to only read a few chapters. It held my interest and next thing I knew it was 4am and I had read the entire book."
– Marlene Mathes, Bookcrosser “Readrmar”(Lincoln, Nebraska, USA)

"This was a nice quick read. An intriguing and unnerving look into the world of environmental crime. The book starts with Rebecca, a dedicated environmental lawyer, discovering that she has a bleeding stomach ulcer. How unfair to walk around with a stomach ulcer in New Orleans, not allowed to eat all that yummy spicy cajun food!!! After that the pressure on this single hard working woman only gets more and more. This book has everything that a good thriller needs: murder, suspense, twists. Different from what a normally read, but nice for a change."
– Arnica van der Wiele, Bookcrosser “Pluisje” (Ngatea, Hauraki, New Zealand)

"I really enjoyed it. There's a few twists at the end that I wasn't expecting. It's got it all, murder, suspense, romance. The main character, Rebecca seemed very real to me. She works too much, single (I can relate to that) and is a good friend.... Great first book, hope there's many more to come." – Jennie Kovacs, Bookcrosser “Heaven150” (Alberta, Canada)

"It was a captivating read. I was dreading and anticipating the next twist/action at the same time and couldn't put the book down. And the environmental pollution and its effects left a big knot in my gut." – Christine Knollmeyer, Bookcrosser “ekaterin4luv” (Nurenberg, Germany)
