With a background in corporate marketing as well as traditional publishing, Lucinda lives on both sides of the literary and business worlds. Her specialties include: online marketing, social media, events and strategic partnerships. She considers herself a do-it-all marketer and client partner, and takes satisfaction in building audiences and navigating newcomers through the landscape of new media. Recent author marketing campaigns include: bestselling authors Allison Winn Scotch’s The One That I Want and Douglas Kennedy’s The Moment, and debut authors Bianca Turetsky’s The Time Traveling Fashionista, Rajeev Peshawaria’s Too Many Bosses, and Dr. Jeffrey Rubin’s The Art of Flourishing.
Before founding her company, Lucinda worked as a marketing consultant at Fletcher & Company, a boutique literary agency, where she worked with bestselling authors such as Gretchen Rubin, The Happiness Project, Tarquin Hall, The Case of the Missing Servant and The Case of the Man Who Died Laughing, and Stephanie Dolgoff, My Formerly Hot Life: Dispatches from Just the Other Side of Young.
Prior to joining Fletcher & Company, Lucinda worked in Scholastic’s Marketing Partnerships Division, primarily in online custom publishing and analytics. In 2007, she spearheaded Scholastic’s first job site for teachers. Lucinda began her publishing career in the Publicity Division of HarperCollins, where she assisted on the campaigns of authors Ben Mezrich (Bringing Down the House, Busting Vegas) and Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner (Freakonomics) among others bestsellers. Lucinda studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and McGill University in Montreal, where she graduated with honors in literature and film.
