Fictional Food

The list of novels that include interesting food still isn't very long.  Compiled from reader comments, we have:

Redwall, Brian Jacques
Luck in the Shadows, Lynn Flewelling
The Hobbit, Tolkien
Jhereg, Steven Brust
Airs Beneath the Moon, Toby Bishop
Singer in the Snow, Louise Marley

Yes, of course I include my own, because that's what got me thinking about this in the first place.  There must be more, though.  And notice there isn't a single science fiction novel on this very short list?  It's all fantasy.

In these books, though, the food could actually be prepared and eaten.  I wonder how a cookbook of fictional food would sell at conventions?
