Instant City magazine asked me to read a San Francisco ghost story, so I'm going to tell the story of seeing the ghost of my friend Blair, who died of AIDS. It would be great to see friendly faces in the crowd.
Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm (confirmed)
At Gypsy Honeymoon
3599 24th Street, San Francisco, CA
The Instant City announcement:
You’ve always suspected your overpriced Victorian apartment is haunted. Every time you walk the ridge of Dolores Park you hear whispers that you’re sure ain’t the J Church. Is it true about the downtown businessman who, possessed by the ghost of a pirate captain, ordered maintenance to dig a hole in his building’s basement? What about the notorious masked man of the Western Addition who hides under women’s beds?
In celebration of San Francisco’s favorite holiday, Halloween, join Instant City and friends for an evening of ghost story-telling. Listen to bone-chilling tales of San Francisco modern and old, or come and tell your own terrifying story — just bring a friend to walk you home afterwards.
The evening will begin with live music by The Conspiracy of Venus!
