Cemetery Travel lecture this Sunday
In Cypress Lawn

I was standing in line for Star Tours at Disneyland last October when I got the email inviting me to speak at Cypress Lawn Cemetery.  It was the best birthday present I could imagine.

I've been attending lectures at the cemetery since the very first one 13 years ago.  I've learned an immense amount -- all of it for free.  Cypress Lawn is a beautiful cemetery, chockful of history, and I could not be more honored to speak there.

My free lecture will be about why graveyards should be added to everyone's travel plans.  I'll talk about the history of cemetery travel, my adventures in burial grounds around the world, and places for every interest from art, gardening, bird watching, sociology, world history, genealogy, and the famous and infamous.

Cypress Lawn calls me the "ultimate cemetery believer and enthusiast" who has "embarked upon a mission to make cemeteries a travel destination once again." Come add some graveyards to your must-see list and share your favorite cemetery travel destinations.
